Medicare D: I hope you all are doing well with Medicare part D. As my doctor says. it should have been handled like Medicare parts A and B; that is, let your pharmacy bill Medicare just as the doctor does now for medical care. I am still struggling. I tried to sign up with Medco's company, YouRx, but I couldn't get registered in time to get my medicine, and I needed to call them and transfer all my prescriptions. Instead I tried to cancel. I don't know if I succeeded. I also tried to get on wife Jane's TRS plan since Raytheon cancelled their plan and became secondary, whatever that means. At present I am going out of the country. My Lupron has gone from nothing to $40/quarter to $1100/quarter. I am considering other options such as an orchiectomy if it is as effective. Happy Valentine's Day. See you at the February meeting. Henri has suggested that an interesting
website is: Here is a link to a German scientist who has a good
test for systemic cancer so as to not put a man through therapies that cannot
succeed. Jerry Bylander, Editor |
